Katrina Curtis
General Manager and Head Coach
Katrina Curtis is a certified personal trainer who graduated with her B.S. in Exercise Science while competing as a Division 1 athlete. Throughout her college career she was an Academic All-American and the Women’s Tennis Team’s first and only 3-time, peer-elected team captain. Throughout her years playing tennis she always loved being in the weight room, learning about the human body and helping others reach their goals.
After missing the competition of being a collegiate athlete, Katrina decided to pursue powerlifting and get a coach to help guide her along that path. She has competed in multiple State, National and International meets. She placed in the top three of them all, taking an International Championship in the process, and winning the nationwide Iron Built Games in her class. She holds International Elite totals in three different weight classes and three separate equipment categories.
Powerlifting and the Legacy Barbell community has left an impact on Katrina and her husband. Katrina has since decided to pursue coaching and give back to the community. Her goal is to add value to others as they have done for her, and positively impact as many lives as possible.
Outside of the gym, Katrina enjoys the beach, spending time with her husband and their three dogs and finding new coffee shops. Her favorite part of being in the gym is celebrating with others when they hit PRs and being part of a community full of love and laughter.
